Request account deletion

This is the external account-deletion resource for SkySpot SA, operated by David Graeme Middleton for the South African RC, FPV, and drone pilot community. You can use it without reinstalling the app.

You can also delete in the app

If you can open SkySpot SA, use the in-app route: Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account. The app requires an online connection, deliberate confirmation, and recent reauthentication.

This page is the external initiation route for people who cannot use that in-app path.

What to expect

Submitting this form initiates a request; it does not instantly complete deletion. SkySpot will explain next steps and process a verified request as soon as reasonably practicable. We may ask you to reply through the account email or complete another proportionate ownership check. We will not ask for credentials.

Start your request

Only provide the minimum information needed to locate your account. The account email is required; your SkySpot username is optional.

What deletion covers

  • Profile, private, authentication, and relational account data are removed, along with supported media you uploaded.
  • Both vouches given and vouches received are deleted; surviving trust totals may be recomputed.
  • Useful community records may remain with identifying account fields anonymised where applicable.
  • Your username reservation is released and may later be used by another person.
  • A limited banned-account safety record may be retained for security and abuse prevention.

Provider backups, caches, and legal-preservation cycles may not complete at the same instant as the live deletion process. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
